I feel there is a luxury for some to live as if
all is well
these some find days long expired yet not yet extinguished
pursuits
carry them from one pile of somethings to others
amassed paintings in retirement clay bowls thrown against the wheel
of time told these leisure hours are best spent in long held explorations as such but really
really….
are these not just attempts to extend duration
while all the while they’re expending the turn of the earth
