When you have made a mistake do not give up the doing of the thing you were doing from the start but rather start over again on this thing that has begun badly sure but is still yet your thing from the start, try again, try anew, look for the place from which it came and water that, fertilize that, trim the dead parts from that.
Good things grow from the soil of renewal. You needn’t always replace the earth from where the shoots will spring.
