Amen means ‘so be it’.
Some people think it is a kind of thanks
or warmly yours
a sign off from prayer that closes the deal
an ending signal to round out confidence that a god has listened and will respond.
Whether it is or ever has been a part of your vocabulary or not I say amen.
So be it.
When we speak it or write it or just feel it in our soul, we take up power.
