Scorpio is often described as the secret keeper. This negative association has a positive interpretation that holds better truth; it is a privacy it seeks and establishes, so as to more deeply spend time with a knowingness or new truth it needs to test out, not a secret-keeping.
Shuffling its body into the sands for warmth and comfort, the scorpion disappears itself to contain and contemplate its private internal self.
It is a metaphor for us to do the same.
As I prepare for 10 people to gather around the studio, the dining room the castle, I apply this metaphor and ponder.
We are joining together, shuffling through these sand of self contemplation, choosing to be ‘othering’ during this Scorpio season.
What do we discover by testing the depth of our private exploration, in a communal setting? What will be revealed that will bring us to a place more attuned to the unique space of us each?
As a partnering element this year, Uranus is up there directly across from the sun, receiving its mighty illumination. Uranus moves us, and is said to conquer fear by means of invention and inspiration. It is often referred to as ‘the great awakener’. It abolishes fear by means of truth, keeping us in the present; the only place from which development and progress can happen.
With the sun shining boldly onto this space in the sky, we too take the energy of the light and let our own unique inspirations from intuition rise.
Add to this Venus, who trines the harmony above. Venus is the planet associated with love; I’ll take a dose of that in my intuitive spelunking thank you ;).
These points are all at 12 degrees in the sky. 12 is the number of the student, of growth. So altogether I believe, we are set up for some serious intuitive discovery and revelation.
And for more of that truth, there is something about Saturn up there conjunct as well. Saturn; the truth-teller. If I am going to use my energy and effort to go deep, I darn well want to discover the truth, yes please.
Depth. Rising. Sharing.
It is exploration; mining for more of our unique truth, trusting what we have discovered, and opening our eyes, hands, and maybe mouths, to share. Layers of living we rotate through, just like the planets and sky points, going deep and disappearing into discovery, so as to rise and open, to shine and share, when we emerge from the sands of invested time.We get to gather once again; I look forward to what comes.
