I caught a glint bouncing off the refrigerator door amassed as it was with fingerprints

and yesterdays many There’s nothing to eat!

I caught it’s reflection from my side eye glance

as I did in the early morning rising I prize

I decided to see if it would last beyond the opening

of the door so I gently threw the lock turned the knob

and there it was still yet in all its glory not a figment not a fractured passing

beckoning as it had, lighting on my stark white refrigerator panel, it was happy to see and glowed with the delight.
