The weight is of something

but nothing I can name

a brick held

a balast moored

no a stone

swallowed and held between the splayed bones of my hips

pressing down the earth causing each step to land heavy as if a block of stone

clump clump clump along the passageway

two hands outstretched guide the wheels straight on straight on straight on

I respond to her peel to not let her fall while all the while keep going

while all the while she forever sits

forever

blocks of stone heavy so heavy clump clump clump

weighted to this earth
