You could call it my way of qualifying my investment in the practice of creating art in a world; the world that does not necessarily cry aloud for this spiritual, experiencial, sensory based expression at the moment.
What has Astrology provided me in my artistic expression?
Grounding. Trust. Truth. The things I most strive for in life. An understanding of why my feet touch the earth. Not an educated knowing, a sensory knowing. A truth that becomes more solid as time transcends.
Why have I come to believe in and use astrology as part of my creative practice?
Because it has provided me with not only the scientific data but also the esoteric, the mystical and spiritual, connection to what I think of as my intuitive knowing. This knowing to which astrology is helping me connect to and trust is that there is not simply me creating, but a world, a universe, created and feeding this creativity in me, and in everyone alive. It is a relationship, one to which I belong and I am, at the same time.
It has proven to be the ‘proof’ I have asked for.
