Live virtual time together around the studio table!

Vessels, forms, shapes to hold in ones hand. It can be a delight to translate a 2D painting practice into nonfunctional forms of delight. In this time together we will meet twice and explore three mediums I have come to use for creating these delights.

First Thursday May 21 to form, then the following Tuesday 26th to bring them to encaustic.

Materials used and to have on hand if you want to play along as we go! All sessions are recorded so simply watching then returning later is a great option as well~

• paperclay
• plaster gauze
• rabbit skin glue
  • whiting

Day one will make forms. Day two, bring them to the wax! 

Other materials put to use and have on hand: 

• cotton cloth like duck cloth or even canvas
• gauze or cheesecloth
• needle and thread
• bendable shapeable wire
