This newest series, and one still in process, evolved out of the vines & branches and ancient text series. Simplicity was my goal. To take just the basic materials; bord, wax, torch and see what beauty can be manifest. With just touches of color from Panpastel, the foundations series takes advantage of high contract and natural color through torch burning and natural wax. Foundations represents the need for, and ascribing towards, setting a solid, unwavering foundation with deep roots and strong limbs, in God alone. |
