Born more of a desire to see just how much I could do with tar and plaster more than anything else, the ancient text series represents my heart-speak text scrawls during a time of deep reflection on God's will and path for my life. The layer upon layer of sanded, pasteled, reapplied tar and plaster came to me to represent the layer upon layer of self I was digging through to find the true, honest words of God in my life~ |
